एक गांव में नंदू नाम का एक गरीब आदमी रहता था। वह अपनी पत्नी और अपने बच्चों के साथ एक साधारण जीवन व्यतीत करता था । वह इतनी गरीबी से झूझ रहा था कि उसके पास खाने के लिए दो वक्त का भोजन भी नहीं था। परंतु वह भगवान पर अत्यधिक विश्वास करता था ।उसको यह पता था कि एक ना एक दिन भगवान मेरी सारी मनोकामना पूरी करेंगे और मेरी सारी समस्या समाप्त कर देंगे। वह हर रोज नए-नए काम ढूंढता रहता था ।जिससे कि वह अपने बीवी और बच्चों का पेट पाल सकें। पर कभी-कभी उसकी किस्मत उसका साथ नहीं देती थी । एक दिन जब उसे कहीं पर भी काम नहीं मिला तो वह परेशान होकर जंगल की ओर जाने लगा। चलते चलते वह मन ही मन में बस यही प्रार्थना कर रहा था कि भगवान मुझे कुछ ऐसा काम दे दो जिससे मैं अपने परिवार को अच्छे से रख पाऊं । तभी उसने देखा कि एक सेठ उसी जंगल के रास्ते उसके आगे चल रहा है और उसने देखा कि वह सेठ बहुत ही परेशान लग रहा है । इसीलिए वह सेठ की थोड़ी ही दूरी पर जाकर खड़ा हो गया और सेठ की बातें सुनने लगा । सेठ जोर-जोर से कह रहा था कि मेरी अंगूठी खो गई । पता नहीं कहां चली गई । अभी मेरे हाथ में ही तो थी। इतना कहने के बाद सेठ उदास होकर वापस अपने घर की ओर जाने लगा। तभी नंदू ने ढूंढना शुरू किया और उसे झाड़ियों में सेठ की अंगूठी मिल गई। जैसे ही नंदू ने उस अंगूठी को उठाया उसने देखा कि यह अंगूठी असली हीरे की बनी हुई है । नंदू को लगा कि यह सच में बहुत ही महंगी अंगूठी होगी। नंदू ने सोचा कि अगर मैं यह अंगूठी सेठ को वापस दे दूं तो शायद वह खुश होकर मुझे कोई अच्छा काम बता दे । इसीलिए नंदू बिना वक्त गवाए सेठ के पीछे पीछे चलता रहा । और जैसे ही सेठ घर पहुंच गया नंदू ने उन्हें पीछे से आवाज लगाई और कहा सेठ जी यह आपकी वही अंगूठी है जो जंगल में खो गई थी । जैसे ही सेठ अंगूठी को देखता है वह आश्चर्यचकित हो जाता है । और उसके चेहरे पर एक सुकून आ जाता है । पर सेठ को विश्वास नहीं होता कि यह आदमी अंगूठी मुझे वापिस क्यों कर रहा है । तो सेठ नंदू से पूछता है कि तुमने मुझे ही अंगूठी वापिस क्यों की। अगर तुम चाहते तो यह अंगूठी अपने पास रख सकते थे । और इस को बेचकर धन कमा सकते थे। पर तुमने ऐसा नहीं किया क्यों ? तभी नंदू कहता है सेठ यह तो बेमानी हुई जो चीज मेरी है ही नहीं, उससे मिलने वाला पैसा भी मेरा नहीं है । और अगर मैं ऐसा करता ,तो वह पैसा भी मेरे पास नहीं रहता और साथ ही में मेरे भगवान मुझसे रूठ जाते । इसीलिए मैं ऐसी बेमानी नहीं कर सकता था । तभी सेठ खुश होकर नंदू से कहते हैं कि बताओ , तुम्हें क्या चाहिए मैं तुम्हारी हर इच्छा पूरी करूंगा । तुम्हें जो चाहिए तुम मुझसे मांग सकते हो । तभी नंदू हाथ जोड़कर कहता है कि सेठ मुझे एक अच्छे काम की तलाश है । एक ऐसा काम जिसके साथ मैं अपना परिवार भी संभाल सकूं और अपने बच्चों को पढ़ा सकूं । तभी सेठ मुस्कुरा कर कहता है कि मेरे यहां पर एक ईमानदार काम करने वाले की जरूरत है । अगर तुम चाहो तो वह काम कर सकते हो ।क्योंकि इस अंगूठी को वापस करके तुमने अपनी ईमानदारी साबित कर दी है। और तुम्हें यह नौकरी देने में मुझे जरा भी संकोच नहीं हो रहा । नंदू हाथ जोड़कर कहता है कि अगर आपको यह लगता है कि मैं इस काम को करने के योग्य हूं ।तो मुझे आपका काम करके खुशी मिलेगी ।और मैं आपके काम को पूरी ईमानदारी के साथ करूंगा ।उसके बाद नंदू वहां पर काम करना शुरू कर देता है । उसके दिन बदल गए थे ।अब वह अच्छे से काम कर रहा था। सेठ उसे अच्छे पैसे भी देता था।
वह आदमी समझ गया था कि “भगवान” सभी को देखते है। वह सभी की इच्छा पूरी करते है। अगर हम सब कुछ ईमानदारी से करते है ।तो वह मदद जरूर करते है। इसलिए भगवान के प्रति विश्वाश होना बहुत जरुरी होता है। अगर आप विश्वाश करते है तो आपकी इच्छा एक दिन जरूर पूरी होती है।
There lived a poor man named Nandu in a village. He lived a simple life with his wife and his children. He was suffering from such poverty that he did not even have two meals to eat. But he had great faith in God. He knew that one day God would fulfill all my wishes and solve all my problems. He used to find new work everyday so that he could feed his wife and children. But sometimes his luck did not favor him. One day when he could not find work anywhere, he got upset and started going towards the forest. While walking, he was praying in his heart that God give me some such work so that I can take care of my family well. Then he saw that a Seth was walking ahead of him through the same forest and he saw that Seth was looking very upset. That is why he stood at a short distance from Seth and started listening to Seth's words. Seth was saying loudly that I had lost my ring. I don't know where it went. It was only in my hand. After saying this, Seth got sad and started going back towards his house. Then Nandu started searching and found Seth's ring in the bushes. As soon as Nandu picked up the ring he saw that it was made of real diamonds. Nandu thought that this would be a really expensive ring. Nandu thought that if I give this ring back to Seth, then maybe he will be happy and tell me some good deed. That's why Nandu kept on following Seth without wasting any time. And as soon as Seth reached home, Nandu called him from behind and said Seth ji, this is your ring which was lost in the forest. As soon as Seth sees the ring he is surprised. And a look of relief comes to his face. But Seth can't believe why this man is returning the ring to me. So Seth asks Nandu why did you return the ring to me. If you wanted, you could have kept this ring with you. And could earn money by selling it. But why didn't you do that? Then Nandu says, Seth, it is meaningless, the thing which is not mine, the money received from it is also not mine. And if I had done this, then even that money would not remain with me and at the same time my God would have been angry with me. That's why I couldn't do such nonsense. Then Seth is happy and tells Nandu that tell me, what do you want, I will fulfill your every wish. You can ask me whatever you want. Then Nandu says with folded hands that Seth I am looking for a good job. A job with which I can also take care of my family and educate my children. Then Seth smiles and says that I need an honest worker here. You can do that if you want. Because by returning this ring you have proved your integrity. And I have no hesitation in giving this job to you. Nandu says with folded hands that if you feel that I am capable of doing this work. Then I will be happy to do your work. And I will do your work with complete honesty. After that Nandu would start working there. Is . His days had changed. Now he was doing well. Seth used to give him good money too.
The man understood that "God" sees all. He fulfills everyone's wish. If we do everything honestly. Then he definitely helps. That is why it is very important to have faith in God. If you believe then your wish will definitely come true one day.
