एक गांव में एक गरीब ब्राह्मण और उसकी पत्नी दोनों रहते थे । वह भगवान में बहुत विश्वास रखते थे । उन दोनों की कोई संतान नहीं थी । वें अपना जीवन बहुत ही नियमित रूप से जीते थे । वह हर रोज मंदिर में जाकर भगवान से प्रार्थना करते कि भगवान उनके घर में एक संतान उत्पन्न हो जाए । इसी कारण से बहुत दुखी और परेशान भी थे । एक दिन भगवान ने प्रसन्न होकर उन्हें दर्शन दिए और कहा कि मैं तुम्हारी पूजा और भक्ति से बहुत प्रसन्न हूं । मांगों, तुम्हें क्या चाहिए ? तब गरीब ब्राह्मण और उसकी पत्नी बोली कि हे भगवान । हमारी कोई संतान नहीं है , इसलिए हमें संतान प्राप्ति का वर दो । तब भगवान बोले कि मैं तुम्हें अपनी और से कुछ और देना चाहता हूं । दोनों ने खुशी-खुशी हां कह दी । तब भगवान ने उन्हें एक शेर , एक बिल्ली और एक कौवा दिया और कहा कि तुम दोनों इन तीनों को अपने बच्चे के समान ही प्यार करना । और उनका पालन पोषण करना । गरीब ब्राह्मण और उसकी पत्नि ने भगवान का आशीर्वाद समझ कर उन तीनों को अपने घर ले गए और उनका पालन पोषण करने लगे । जब गांव वालों ने देखा कि भगवान ने उन्हें बच्चे के स्थान पर एक शेर का बच्चा , एक बिल्ली का बच्चा और एक कौवा दिया है ,तो वह सब उनकी हंसी उड़ाने लगे । लेकिन ब्राह्मण और उसकी पत्नी को इस बात से कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता था । वह तो इसे भगवान का आशीर्वाद समझ कर उन तीनों का पालन पोषण कर रहे थे । उन तीनों में भगवान की कृपा से बहुत ही अद्भुत शक्ति थी । कौआ उड़ते उड़ते ऊपर स्वर्ग लोक तक जा सकता था । एक दिन कौआ उड़ते उड़ते स्वर्ग लोक पहुंचा और वहां एक पेड़ पर जाकर बैठ गया । जब वह पेड़ पर बैठा हुआ था तो उसके कान में कुछ आवाज आई । जहां उसने सुना कि भगवान कह रहे हैं कि इस बार उस गरीब ब्राह्मण के गांव में अकाल पड़ने वाला है । भगवान ने अपनी शक्ति से बहुत सारे चूहों को प्रकट किया और कहा कि तुम उस गरीब ब्राह्मण के गांव में जाकर सारी फसल को नष्ट कर दो । जिससे कि वहां पर अकाल पड़ जाए । कौए ने जब यह बात सुनी तो वह उड़ कर जल्दी-जल्दी अपने घर आया और यह बात उसने ब्राह्मण और ब्राह्मण की पत्नी को बताई । जब यह बात कौवा उस ब्राह्मण को बता रहा था , तभी गांव के एक आदमी ने खिड़की से उन्हें यह बात करते सुन लिया । और जाकर यह बात सारे गांव में फैला दी । गांव वाले इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए उस गरीब ब्राह्मण के पास आए । तब बिल्ली बोली कि तुम सब घबराओ मत , चूहों से तो मैं निपट लूंगी । तुम सब इसकी चिंता मत करो । बिल्ली जाकर पहले से ही वहां तैयार हो गई और जैसे ही चूहे आए और फसल को नष्ट करने लगे , तो बिल्ली ने उन चूहों को मारना शुरू कर दिया । कुछ चूहे मर गए , कुछ घायल हो गए और कुछ डर के मारे भाग गए । गांव वालों ने यह सब देखा तो बहुत खुश हुए और उस बिल्ली का और ब्राह्मण का धन्यवाद किया । कौवा एक दिन फिर से उड़ता उड़ता स्वर्ग लोक पहुंचा । वहां उसने फिर भगवान को बात करते सुना कि इन इंसानों ने तो चूहों वाली योजना को विफल कर दिया है ।लेकिन अब हिरणों के झुंड को भेजते हैं , जिनकी वजह से उनकी फसल नष्ट हो जाएगी। कौआ यह बात सुनकर वापस धरती पर आ गया और जाकर ब्राह्मण और गांव वालों से यह बात कही । गांव वाले इस बात को सुनकर परेशान हो गए और कहने लगे कि अब इस समस्या का समाधान कैसे होगा । हिरनो से हम अपनी फसल को कैसे बचाएंगे ? तब शेर बोला कि घबराओ मत , हिरनो से तो मैं निपट लूंगा । तुम इस बात की चिंता मत करो । अगले दिन शेर खेत में पहुंच गया और जैसे ही हिरण आए तो उसने हिरनो को मारना शुरू कर दिया । कुछ हिरन घायल हो गए और कुछ डर के मारे भाग गए । गांवों वाले ने शेर का धन्यवाद किया और अपने घर चले गए । अगले दिन जब कौवा उड़ता उड़ता फिर स्वर्ग लोक पहुंचा तो उसने भगवान को फिर से कहते सुना कि यह गांव वाले तो बहुत ही चालाक और तेज हैं । तभी वहां पर देवी लक्ष्मी आ गई और भगवान को परेशान देखकर बोली कि हे भगवान आप परेशान क्यों है ? भगवान ने कहा कि इन गांव वालों की चतुरता के सामने हमारी सारी योजना विफल हो रही हैं । तभी देवी लक्ष्मी बोली कि हे भगवान , है तो इंसान ही ना , हमसे बढ़कर और आप से बढ़कर नहीं हो सकते । क्यों ना हम इनके अनाज की पैदावार को ही कम कर दें । यदि हम एक खलिहान में एक क्विंटल से ज्यादा ना होने दें । तो फिर यह अनाज कम होने की वजह से अपने आप ही अकाल पड़ जाएगा । कोवे ने यह बात सुनी और जाकर के गांव वालों और गरीब ब्राह्मण को बताई । तब गांव वाले परेशान हो गए और कहा कि इस तरह से तो गांव में अकाल पड़ जाएगा ,अगर खेत में अन्न कम हुआ तो । तब गरीब ब्राह्मण ने योजना बनाई और कहा कि क्यों ना हम बहुत सारे खलिहान बनाए । अपने खेतों को बहुत सारे खलियान में बांट दें । एक खलिहान में 1 क्विंटल अनाज होगा तो इससे बहुत सारे खलिहानो में बहुत सारा अनाज इकट्ठा हो जाएगा । गांव वालों ने ऐसा ही किया । गांव वालों ने बहुत से खलियान तैयार कर दिए जिससे बहुत सारा अनाज इकट्ठा हो गया। गांव वाले बहुत ही खुश हुए । गांव वालों ने जाकर मंदिर में दान दक्षिणा दी , पूजा हवन इत्यादि करवाएं और भगवान का धन्यवाद किया । भगवान ऊपर स्वर्ग लोक में यह सब देख कर मुस्कुरा रहे थे । क्योंकि जो सब हो रहा था भगवान की माया से ही हो रहा था । कौए के कानों में जो आवाज सुनाई पड़ी थी भगवान ही उसे ये आवाज सुनाना चाहते थे । क्योंकि भगवान उन्हें यह बताना चाहते थे कि अगर गांव वाले सब मिलकर आपस में किसी समस्या का समाधान निकालेंगे तो फिर भगवान तो क्या हर बुरे इंसान को हरा सकेंगे । इसलिए आदमी को एक दूसरे का सहायक होना चाहिए । एक दूसरे की मिलकर मदद करनी चाहिए । जिस से आने वाली समस्या का सामना कर सके । भगवान ने उन्हें आशीर्वाद दिया और कहा कि तुम्हारे गांव में कभी भी अकाल नहीं पड़ेगा । तुम सब इसी तरह मिल जुल कर रहो । गांव वालों ने ब्राह्मण के शेर , बिल्ली और कौवे को धन्यवाद दिया ।और अब कोई भी गांव वाला उनकी हंसी नहीं उड़ाता था बल्कि उन तीनों पर गर्व करता था । बल्कि भगवान की कृपा से कुछ समय बाद ब्राह्मण के एक पुत्र पैदा हुआ । ब्राह्मण बहुत खुश हुआ । उसने भगवान का धन्यवाद किया और वे सब साथ में खुशी-खुशी रहने लगे ।
When God lost to a poor Brahmin
A poor Brahmin and his wife both lived in a village. He had great faith in God. Both of them did not have any children. He lived his life very regularly. He used to go to the temple every day and pray to God that a child should be born in his house. For this reason he was very sad and upset too. One day God appeared pleased and appeared to him and said that I am very happy with your worship and devotion. demands, what do you want? Then the poor brahmin and his wife said, Oh Lord. We do not have any children, so give us the boon of having children. Then God said that I want to give you something more than myself. Both happily said yes. Then God gave them a lion, a cat and a crow and said that both of you should love these three like your own child. and nurture them. The poor brahmin and his wife took all three of them to their home, taking God's blessings and started nurturing them. When the villagers saw that God had given them a lion cub, a kitten and a crow in place of the child, they all laughed at them. But the Brahmin and his wife did not care about this. Considering it as a blessing of God, he was nurturing all three of them. All three of them had amazing power by the grace of God. The crow could fly up to the heavens while flying. One day the crow reached heaven while flying and sat on a tree there. While he was sitting on the tree, some sound came in his ear. Where he heard that God is saying that this time there is going to be a famine in the village of that poor Brahmin. God manifested many rats with his power and said that you go to that poor Brahmin's village and destroy the whole crop. So that there would be a famine there. When the crow heard this, he flew to his house hurriedly and told this to the brahmin and the brahmin's wife. When the crow was telling this thing to the Brahmin, then a man from the village overheard him talking through the window. And went and spread this word in the whole village. The villagers came to that poor Brahmin to solve this problem. Then the cat said that you all do not panic, I will deal with the rats. Don't worry about it all. The cat went there and got ready already and as soon as the rats came and started destroying the crop, the cat started killing those rats. Some rats died, some got injured and some ran away in fear. When the villagers saw all this, they were very happy and thanked the cat and the Brahmin. One day the crow flew again and flew to heaven. There he again heard God talking that these humans had foiled the rats' plan. But now he sends a herd of deer, due to which his crop will be destroyed. Hearing this, the crow came back to earth and went and told this to the Brahmins and the villagers. The villagers got upset after hearing this and started saying that how will this problem be solved now. How do we save our crops from deer? Then the lion said that do not panic, I will deal with the deer. Don't you worry about this. The next day the lion reached the field and as soon as the deer came, it started killing the deer. Some deer got injured and some ran away in fear. The villagers thanked the lion and went to their homes. The next day, when the crow flew away and then reached heaven, he heard God again saying that these villagers are very clever and fast. Then Goddess Lakshmi came there and seeing God upset, she said, Oh God, why are you upset? God said that all our plans are failing in front of the cleverness of these villagers. Then Goddess Lakshmi said that oh God, then not only human beings, they cannot be greater than us and more than you. Why don't we just reduce their grain yield? If we do not allow more than one quintal in a barn. Then because of the scarcity of this grain, there will automatically be a famine. Kove heard this and went and told the villagers and the poor Brahmin. Then the villagers got upset and said that in this way there will be a famine in the village, if there is less food in the field. Then the poor brahmin made a plan and said that why don't we build a lot of barns. Divide your fields into several barns. If there is 1 quintal of grain in one barn, then it will collect a lot of grain in many barns. The villagers did the same. The villagers prepared many khyans from which a lot of grain was collected. The villagers were very happy. The villagers went and donated dakshina to the temple, got the worship done, havan etc. and thanked God. God was smiling seeing all this in heaven. Because all that was happening was happening only because of the Maya of God. The voice that was heard in the crow's ears, only God wanted to narrate this voice to him. Because God wanted to tell them that if all the villagers together find a solution to any problem, then will God be able to defeat every bad person. Therefore man should be helpful to each other. We should help each other together. So that you can face the problem. God blessed him and said that there will never be a famine in your village. You all live together like this. The villagers thanked the lion, the cat and the crow of the brahmin.
Naki did not laugh, but was proud of all three of them. Rather, after some time by the grace of God, a son was born to a Brahmin. The Brahmin was very happy. He thanked God and they all started living happily together.
